Outside Sales Representative

Treotham Automation is a privately owned Australian company operating for over 30 years. We are a leading supplier of high‑quality European electrical & mechanical components, serving a broad range of industries with a focus on the Industrial Automation and Robotics sectors. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and personable external sales representative to build relationships and drive sales growth in the industrial automation industry. Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales goals. Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow‑up and outbound cold calls and emails. Conduct sales presentations and negotiations to close deals. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our ERP system. Proactively contact potential clients through phone calls, emails, in‑person meetings and social media to generate new business. Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas. Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in an internal sales or customer service role. Previous experience at an electrical wholesaler or electronics supplier is highly regarded. Interest or aptitude for electrical, electronics, mechanical, mechatronics or other technology‑related fields. Excellent verbal and written communication and rapport‑building skills. Initiative, common sense, and strong problem‑solving ability. High drive to achieve sales targets. Passion for sales and a genuine interest in helping people. Experience with Oracle NetSuite’s ERP system or a similar ERP system. Professional presentation and positive can‑do attitude. Benefits Supportive team environment.
