In this role, you will provide efficient, accurate, and high-quality manufacturing services for our hose assembly and hose management programs both in our factory and on site.You will also support the warehouse and customer service teams as required, contributing positively to the overall success of our branch.**Key responsibilities include:*** Manufacture and test industrial and hydraulic hose assemblies to Australian Standards* Perform workshop duties including work orders, scheduling, fitting, and cleaning tasks* Safely represent the company when on site, adhering to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines* Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness* Use computer systems to manage stock control, purchase orders, invoicing, and customer enquiries* Assist with stock receiving, storage, inventory checks, and maintenance of a clean, safe working environment**What we are looking for:*** Previous experience in hose assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred* Strong knowledge of workshop procedures and safety practices* Forklift license preferred but not essential* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Excellent communication skills* Physically fit to perform manual handling including lifting items over 25kg, reaching, twisting, and pushing trolleys* Capability to work in both internal and external environments safely**What we offer:*** **P****erformance-based** **incentives*** **Access to employee benefits**, including discounts on products and services.* An inclusive culture that embraces the diversity of our people.* Opportunities for **career growth and development** within the GPC/ Global network* **Free access** to webinars, training events and courses; we promote a culture of continuous learning and assisting you to reach your full potentials.* Eligible for **1 Good to Give Leave Day** per calendar year in addition to normal leave entitlements to participate in volunteering activities* **Uniforms supplied** – feel like a team.* **Parental leave top-up allowance.*** **Employee Assistance Program** with access to mental health and well-being support initiatives including confidential counselling services**About Motion**Motion Australia is a leader in the distribution of industrial products.
