Job Overview Job Title: Hose Assembly Fitter Company: Motion Asia Pacific – Motion Australia, part of GPC group. Location: Dandenong South, Victoria, Australia Workshop Hose Assembly Fitter needed to produce quality hose assemblies, ensure safety, and support warehouse operations. The role provides efficient, accurate, and high‑quality manufacturing services for our hose assembly and hose management programs in the factory and on site. Additional support to warehouse and customer service teams as required. Key Responsibilities Manufacture and test industrial and hydraulic hose assemblies to Australian Standards. Perform workshop duties including work orders, scheduling, fitting, and cleaning tasks. Represent the company safely on site, adhering to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines. Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Use computer systems for stock control, purchase orders, invoicing, and customer enquiries. Assist with stock receiving, storage, inventory checks, and maintain a clean, safe working environment. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in hose assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations preferred. Strong knowledge of workshop procedures and safety practices. Forklift license preferred but not essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Physically fit to perform manual handling, including lifting items over 25 kg, reaching, twisting, and pushing trolleys. Capability to work in both internal and external environments safely.
