Due to growth, we are seeking a permanent, full-time, experienced Civil Vacuum Excavation & Hydrojetting operator. No. of Vacancies 1 Responsibilities Operate vacuum excavation and drain cleaning unit and associated equipment for potholing/NDD of underground services, and cleaning of stormwater pipelines. Locate services including power, communications, water, gas, drainage and sewer. Return all written defect reports to the Workshop for action. Carry out all periodic services. Complete daily paperwork. Comply with all IMS procedures and policies. Maintain a high degree of cleanliness and serviceability of Company vehicles. Skills and Ability Requirements Current HR unrestricted driver's licence. Trained and accredited to operate a High Pressure Water Jetting System (MSMSS00004) and to operate a Drain Cleaning System (MSMSS00019 – or MSMWJ305). WHS General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card). Senior First Aid Certificate. Current Working in Confined Space ticket with BA (desirable). Valid Construction Industry WHS White Card; Working Safely at Heights ticket. Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings and emergency call-outs; able to undertake occasional away works; full Australian working rights. Knowledge of smartphone and iPad operating systems. Strong health and safety mindset; physically fit to perform manual tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication; reliable, safe and cautious driver; strong organisational and time-management skills; ability to work autonomously and in a team; ability to communicate with clients at all levels; practical common-sense approach to tasks. Previous experience in Vacuum Excavation and Drain Cleaning; general knowledge of Plant and servicing requirements for periodic services. Experience Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
