RMIT University is seeking a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology to join the School of Health and Biomedical Sciences. This role is ideal for a registered clinical psychologist who is passionate about education and eager to strengthen their research impact while supervising and mentoring the next generation of practitioners. What you will enjoy about this role In this role, you will: Teach across undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programs Provide clinical supervision within the postgraduate program Develop your research profile through publications, collaboration and funding activity Lead and participate in research projects aligned to RMIT’s strategic priorities Build partnerships with academia, industry and professional groups Contribute to curriculum design and contemporary teaching practice Work collaboratively in a dynamic academic team Coordinate courses and contribute to program leadership as your capability grows This role provides a strong platform for academic career progression, offering support to develop research capability, teaching excellence and professional identity. About You You will be successful in this role if you bring: A completed PhD in a relevant discipline Endorsement as an AHPRA-approved registered clinical supervisor with expertise in clinical psychology. Teaching experience in psychology at tertiary level An emerging research profile evidenced by publications and project involvement Experience supervising Honours or HDR students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A collaborative, professional and student-centred approach The ability to build professional and industry relationships Commitment to continuous teaching improvement and scholarly leadership Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
