Discover more via our website.Your next career opportunity As a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of child and adolescent psychologists. You'll have the opportunity to teach and supervise in our prestigious postgraduate program, focusing on paediatric and adolescent clinical psychology. Additionally, you'll contribute to developing a paediatric component of our University Psychology Clinic, providing invaluable hands-on experience to our students.Your responsibilities will include: Deliver Exceptional Teaching : Develop and present lectures, seminars, and workshops on paediatric and adolescent clinical psychology in our postgraduate programs. Provide Clinical Supervision : Guide students through their placements, focusing on child and adolescent cases. Contribute to Curriculum Development : Help shape our postgraduate clinical psychology programs to ensure they remain at the forefront of the field. Engage in Research : Pursue research opportunities in clinical psychology education or paediatric mental health. You may be a great fit if: You are a registered clinical psychologist with a passion for education and a commitment to shaping the future of the profession. You bring expertise in paediatric and adolescent psychology and are fully registered as a Psychologist with Clinical Psychology endorsement from AHPRA/Psychology Board of Australia. You also hold, or are eligible for, supervisor registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.You may also: Demonstrate excellence in teaching clinical psychology, especially in child and adolescent mental health. Possess strong clinical supervision skills for provisionally registered psychologists. Show recent engagement in high quality clinical psychology research. Have excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills. It is consistently ranked one of the top Schools of Psychology in Australia and was ranked 17th in the world in the 2022 QS global rankings. The School is undergoing vigorous growth and attracts some of the best students nationally and internationally to its broad range of accredited undergraduate, graduate, professional programs as well as its comprehensive research programs.The School is home to a vibrant community of >90 academic, teaching, research and professional staff, over 140 honorary staff, 100 tutors, and 120 PhD students.
