Help shape the future of children in our care

We invite you take on this new position at our Carseldine Childcare Centre designed to support our Intergenerational Program facilitating relationships, care and play between our children and the seniors at Rockpool Residential Aged Care.

With energy, creativity and a passion for education, you will work with educators, Rockpool lifestyle team, children, and families to create, monitor and enhance the intergenerational program ensuring positive outcomes for participating children and seniors. You will have the opportunity to act as a mentor to our Educators on the floor while collaborating with diverse specialists such Allied Health professionals in the delivery of the program.

This is a part-time role working 12 hours per week on a fixed term contract until 17 December 2024.

What you’ll bring

You will bring proven experience in an Early Childhood leadership or development position with a personality that is energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development. Sound knowledge of Allied Health services and how partnership with those services can drive better outcomes for children is an ideal skillset for this role.

To thrive in this role, you will also have:

A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA)

Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.

First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.

Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (within three months or willing to obtain these).
