About the Project MESA has been awarded the contract to operate and maintain a mobile crushing plant and associated equipment for an exciting new long‑term project in the Northern Territory. With mobilisation points primarily from Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, and Cairns, this project promises to deliver sustained opportunities and benefits to the region for years to come. Brand new camp facilities are conveniently located in town, just a 10‑minute commute from site. These camps offer Wi‑Fi and reliable network coverage, allowing team members to stay connected while also enjoying the flexibility to engage with the local community during downtime. The site operates on a 2‑weeks on / 2‑weeks off roster with 12‑hour day and night shifts. Both FIFO and DIDO options are available, with appropriate remuneration provided for drive‑in, drive‑out arrangements. Safety At MESA, safety is a top priority. The Job MESA is currently seeking qualified and experienced Mobile Crusher Fitters to support operations at our new long‑term project. This role involves both the operation and maintenance of mobile crushing plant, as well as the operation of heavy mobile equipment (HME) for product handling and general site maintenance activities. To commence 19 November 2025. Key Responsibilities Perform regular production duties, including operation of crushing and support equipment Carry out routine preventative maintenance, along with unscheduled repairs as required Collaborate closely with the project management and operations teams to meet production, maintenance, and safety targets Ensure reliable plant performance and consistent feedstock supply to the mill Contribute to maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency in a safety‑first environment Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated experience in maintaining and repairing mobile crushing plant and HME - Required. Formal qualifications and demonstrated experience operating wheel loaders & excavators - Preferable. Australian recognised mechanical, electrical or instrumentation trade certificate - Required. Experience operating mobile crushing equipment and HME in a production environment – Preferable. Vehicle loading crane operation ticket (HIAB etc.) - Preferable. Dogging Ticket - Preferable. Telehandler Ticket - Preferable. Full Australian Working Rights - Required. Able to provide a clean Police Clearance for site access - Required.
