Tonkin + Taylor is seeking an Environmental Engineer with experience in environmental management in the waste and industrial facilities sector to join our vibrant and growing team. This is a permanent full‑time role in our Southbank (Victoria) office. We Need Your Skills Work with and learn from highly regarded Auditors and Engineers in the industry Assist in preparing environmental audits for landfill and other industrial facilities Develop environmental management plans such as Risk Management and Monitoring Programs, Leachate, Landfill Gas and Stormwater Management Plans Coordinate field works and manage cross‑disciplinary projects at construction sites Apply analytical engineering and scientific skills to deliver practical solutions for our clients Gain exposure to projects throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Connect with clients and build lasting relationships Contribute to winning tenders and proposals Be part of a strong culture of people first, and have fun while working hard Our Preferred Candidate Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering or similar At least 4 years’ experience in consulting in environmental engineering, landfills, industrial facilities or a similar field Interest in developing client relationships Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Curiosity about how things work Readiness to accelerate development Strong written and verbal communication skills Who We Are Tonkin + Taylor is a proudly 100% employee‑owned company with offices in Australia and New Zealand.
