We are publicly recognized by external parties such as Fortune, Vault, Mogul, Working Mother, Glassdoor, and the Human Rights Campaign for being a great place to work for diversity and inclusion, women, LGBTQ, and parents.WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:The Director / Senior Director sits at the nexus of several important relationships – with the Regional Managing Partner and the APAC servant leader team (Office Heads, Practice Leaders, Functional Leaders); local offices and in particular HRVPs and HRDs/HRMs; and global talent CoEsWHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM:The ‘Director / Senior Director, APAC Human Resources’ sits in the Office of the Regional Managing Partner and oversees all topics related to human resources and talent operations.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Serve as the senior advisor on HR topics for the region (50%)Provide expertise and oversight on key HR topics, involving local HRDs/HRMs to lead specific initiatives as neededCompensation and benefits – provide guidance to local functions and embed best practices from global Centre of Excellence into local processesEmployee risk management, including taking a lead role in handling sensitive employee situations in partnership with global/local HRSafety and security, including COVID managementBusiness function headcount planning, promotionsProcess / systems enhancement to improve employee value propositionChampion shared services hub in Kuala Lumpur – ensure successful expansion (design and execution) working in collaboration with Head of KL Services CentreServe as liaison between global / regional / local stakeholders – collaborate closely with local HR managers to facilitate experience sharing, timely information flow, local input into global projectsLead the HR Functional Excellence transformation program for APAC (50%)Provide thought partnership on detailed design for APAC, working with the global team and with Global Business ServicesPolicy harmonizationProcess redesignOperating model, org structure, governanceLead implementation and change management for APACLocal office engagement, with local market adaptions where relevantSenior stakeholder management and broader communicationsShared services build-outMeasurement and feedback loop to drive continuous improvementABOUT YOU:At least 15 years’ experience as an HR executive, preferably in professional servicesAbility to act as a trusted advisor across levels in the organizationAbility to work in a dynamic environment, showing initiative to value-add in ambiguityUnderstanding of and sensitivity to the nuances across our markets in APACAbility to build strong relationships regionally and globallyAbility to effectively team globally and regionally, including flexibility in adjusting priorities and work hours/availability to meet team and customer needs; 15-20% travelTrack record of strong team advocacy, coaching, and senior stakeholder managementDemonstrated strong presentation and facilitation skillsHigh levels of discretion to appropriately manage highly confidential and sensitive data and informationABOUT US:Bain & Company is a global consultancy that helps the world’s most ambitious change makers define the future.Across 65 cities in 40 countries, we work alongside our clients as one team with a shared ambition to achieve extraordinary results, outperform the competition, and redefine industries.
