What we’re looking for A proven track record as a Marine Sales Consultant in new and used boat sales. A proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. An outstanding communicator (written and verbal) with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive, long‑term relationships with customers, colleagues and manufacturers. Well presented, process driven, highly organised, with the ability to flex and adapt in a fast‑paced environment. What you’ll be doing Build and maintain relationships with customers. Determine customer requirements and advise on "ready to fish" package solutions (boats, outboards, electronics, trailers and accessories and upgrades). You will proactively pursue new leads and opportunities, taking ownership of building and growing a healthy sales pipeline. Ensure sales are fully documented and work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure boat fit‑up and handover is completed on time and to exacting specification. We sell Yamaha, Bar Crusher, Formosa, Cruise Craft, Hooker, Destroyer, StabiCraft, Sea Jay and Garmin. Great PMA. About the role Townsville Marine is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our sales team. You will have a passion for sales and customer satisfaction and understand both the commercial and technical sides of boating. You will deliver high quality customer service, and have the ability to align the right boat and optimal fit‑up with your customers’ needs.
