Project Manager (Engineering) Deliver a high-impact project on a well-known marine asset in Melbourne's Port precinct. We're seeking a Project Manager (Engineering) to oversee a major multi-disciplinary infrastructure upgrade on a prominent waterfront site. Based in Port Melbourne, this role will be responsible for all phases of project delivery – from planning and contract management through to execution and reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage project planning, cost estimating, scheduling, and budget control Administer and oversee complex, multi-disciplinary contracts Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies Align project outcomes with asset management plans and maintenance priorities Prepare and present reports and updates to senior executives and stakeholders Resolve industrial, contractual, and performance-related issues professionally Skills & Experience Proven experience in project management, including planning, estimating, scheduling, cost control, and administering multi-disciplinary contracts (including maintenance contracts). Exposure to marine infrastructure projects (e.g., timber structures) is highly regarded but not essential. Strong understanding of project risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Knowledge of asset maintenance principles and ability to apply asset management plans effectively. Experience in condition assessments and conducting engineering investigations. Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and deliver presentations to diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders. Skilled in collaborative problem‑solving, including negotiating and resolving contractual or performance issues constructively.
