Some key responsibilities include.* Preparing periodic management accounts for a portfolio of clients.* Preparing audited annual financial statements (Special Purpose and General Purpose Tier-2).* Coordinating audit of the financial statements and ensure timely completion of audit.* Coordinating preparation and lodgement of income tax return and annual tax reports including AIIR and PAYGW with tax agent.* Preparing budgets and liquidity forecasts.* Preparing payment directions.* Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).* Preparing distribution and withholding tax calculations for MITs and some securitisation trusts.* Liaising with key internal stakeholders including Trustee, Trust Manager and Investment Manager for the delivery of services under the relevant accounting engagements.**About you*** Holds a degree in accounting, economics, or finance with a major in accounting* Fully qualified or currently pursuing CA or CPA accreditation* Registration as a BAS or Tax Agent is considered an advantage* Has 2+ years of experience in a chartered accounting firm* Possesses an understanding of tax legislation for trusts in Australia (desirable)* Working knowledge of managed funds and securitisation is advantageous* Auditing experience is also considered an advantage.We love hearing from people who are inspired to shape the future with us.
