Golf Operations Assistant

Kareela Golf Club is seeking a professional, reliable, and well-presented individual to join our Golf Operations team for an immediate start. This position is suited for someone who enjoys working in a hands‑on, customer‑facing environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. About the role Assist with member check‑ins, tee bookings, and daily competition setup Operate the point‑of‑sale system and handle retail transactions in the pro shop Manage golf cart rotation, cleaning, and preparation throughout the day Deliver exceptional customer service to all members and visitors Ensure the pro shop, cart shed, and entrance areas are always clean and presentable Support golf events and club competitions during busy weekends and holiday periods About You Experience in a similar golf operations, retail, or customer service role (preferred) Must be available to work most weekends and throughout the summer holiday period as part of flexible scheduling requirements Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities Must be 18+ years of age to meet position requirements Australian work rights are required for this position Why Join Kareela Great local club with a friendly, supportive team environment A varied and active role that keeps you engaged throughout the day Opportunities to gain experience across golf operations, events, and customer service Work outdoors in a great environment with like‑minded people Competitive hourly rate Please note: Applicants must be available to work weekends and throughout the summer holiday period.
