Our client is a well-respected Water Hygiene / Legionella specialist, with a nationwide presence and growing client portfolio. They are seeking a Legionella Remedial Engineer with a diverse skill range and hardworking attitude. You will be servicing clients along the M1 corridor, so candidates will ideally need to be local to this route. The role will involve candidates being able to identify system faults in order to make repair recommendations. Salaries and benefits are competitive and include excellent training opportunities. Locations of work include: Northampton, Daventry, Bletchley, Bedford, Bicester, Oxford, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Dunstable, Sandy, Biggleswade, Banbury, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Stratford-upon-Avon, Didcot, Wallingford, St Neots, Cambridge, Witney, Thatcham, Evesham, Coventry, Corby, Kettering, Market Harborough. Experience / Qualifications Must have experience undertaking remedial duties within a Legionella / Water Hygiene company Will hold plumbing qualifications such as: NVQ Level 1 / 2 / 3 in Plumbing, G3 Vented & Unvented Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines Good literacy and numeracy skills Hardworking attitude The Role Undertaking a wide range of remedial duties across commercial, local authority, public sector and domestic sites Deadleg removals TMV servicing, replacements and installations Tank inspections, refurbishments and installations Cleans & disinfection routines Valve and system component replacements, such as: RPZ valves and pipework Ad-hoc water hygiene duties, such as: water sampling, temperature monitoring, showerhead descales Completing regular service reports Alternative job titles: Water Hygiene Plumber, Plumber, Remedial Technician, Water Hygiene Engineer.
