Base pay range A$150,000.00/yr - A$200,000.00/yr Director | Infrastructure, Investing & Corporate Finance The Company A specialist advisory firm at the intersection of project development, capital strategy, and complex decision-making is seeking an Associate to help drive high‑impact energy, infrastructure, industrial transformation and community housing projects from early development through to investment readiness and delivery. Working closely with senior team members, you will help shape commercial frameworks, support capital raises, and coordinate multi‑stakeholder workstreams for complex, pre‑FID projects across Australia (and occasionally offshore). The Opportunity In this role you will: Contribute to feasibility studies, commercial frameworks and development pathways for energy, infrastructure and industrial projects. Build and maintain financial models to test project viability, funding structures and risk‑adjusted returns. Support development capital raises, including preparing investor materials and analysis for funding decisions. Coordinate multi‑party workstreams (technical, commercial, financial, legal, regulatory) to keep projects moving toward key milestones (feasibility, IC, partnership agreements, FID). Prepare high‑quality board papers, investment papers, strategy documents and presentations for executives, investors and government stakeholders. Undertake industry and market research to inform client strategy, commercial positioning and partnering approaches. Support day‑to‑day client engagement and play an active role in workshops and presentations. Help mentor Analysts and contribute to internal tools, templates and delivery methodologies. About you You are a highly capable, hands‑on professional who enjoys working in the “messy middle” of complex projects – where capital, policy, technology and stakeholders all intersect. Qualifications You will likely bring: 3–7 years’ experience in one or more of: Corporate advisory or investment banking Project finance or infrastructure investment Infrastructure or energy project development Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with advanced Excel capability. Experience working on major projects, feasibility studies, capital raises or commercial negotiations (ideally in multi‑stakeholder or pre‑FID environments). Ability to break down ambiguous problems, create structure and drive clarity for clients. Clear, concise communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders (investors, executives, government). Strong attention to detail, excellent written presentation skills and a bias to action/ownership. (Desirable) Exposure to energy, renewables, industrial decarbonisation, digital infrastructure or related sectors.
