Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description The Technical Sales Support will work with the Major Projects and Product Sales Managers to broaden and develop the business in conjunction with the existing MPS sales and service channels. This role will undertake field studies of machine performance, utilize software simulation programs and Terex knowledge base to analyze project requirements, accurately select equipment to meet specification, prepare quotations and formal proposals. The role will work across sales, engineering and procurement to manage projects and facilitate sales and marketing initiatives. The role is expected to support new machine and aftermarket sales functions with a primary focus on Apron Feeders and specialist projects nationally and partner the technical sales skills with engineering skills and provide trouble shooting and technical training for Terex Machines. Key Responsibilities Identify and recommend the most suitable equipment from the Terex Jaques product portfolio to meet customer requirements. Provide technical back up and product training to the sales organisation. Generation of Aggflow process flows for new plant proposals. Fine tuning of plants to optimise efficiency and meet customers final product requirements. Position Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field or appropriate combination of education and engineering experience. Hands on operational experience in large equipment, maintenance and product support. Experience within the mineral crushing and screening industry preferable. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
