Sylvania Heights Before & After School Care About Us Sylvania Heights Before & After School Care is a warm, community-focused not-for-profit organisation. We are a large service, licensed for 120 children. We are committed to providing high-quality care for school-aged children and pride ourselves on creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where children can learn, play and grow. We are now seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced Nominated Supervisor to lead our large service and guide our passionate team. About the Role As the Centre Director, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of a high-capacity OOSH service. You will drive quality practice, support your team, and ensure the centre operates smoothly, safely and in line with the National Quality Framework. About You You are a very organised, confident leader with management experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoys supporting teams and families. Key Responsibilities Include: Providing strong leadership and direction to all educators and support staff Overseeing all daily operations for a busy 120-place service Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQS) and all relevant legislation Overseeing daily operations, programming, and service planning Building positive, trusting relationships with children, families, our school community, staff, and the local community Managing enrolments, rostering, budgeting, and administrative processes Supporting continuous improvement and fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture Representing the service's values as a not-for-profit, community-driven organisation What We’re Looking For: A Diploma-level (or higher) ACECQA-approved qualification Minimum 1 year's experience within OOSH, early childhood, as a Centre Director/Nominated supervisor Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements Proven capability in strong staff leadership, performance management, and team development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong administration, organisational, and problem‑solving skills Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and WWCC required What We Offer: Sylvania Heights Before and After School Care is approved for the Worker Retention Grant , which we are committed to passing on to our employees.
