We are seeking a Commercial Contracts Specialist to support the Contract Managers of the Contracting CoE. The Commercial Contract Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing the lifecycle of client and third‑party contracts, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment with firm‑wide objectives. This role combines contract expertise with business management and reporting capabilities to support governance, performance tracking, and continuous improvement across the contracting function. The Commercial Contract Specialist engages directly with Engagement Leads, Engagement Managers, and Account Executives to support their contracting across the end‑to‑end lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Advise and support Engagement Leads on the Firm’s contracting processes, procedures and systems in respect of new contracts, and variations or renewals of contracts. Apply strong commercial acumen to assess contract terms and structures, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining compliance and mitigating risk. Develop and maintain contract reports and dashboards to support the performance management of contracts (e.g. obligation compliance, contract value realisation, contract utilisation, contract renewal rates, contract cycle time). Extract and analyse data from the CLM system to identify trends, risks for process improvements, and to support decision‑making; collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting gaps and enhance data quality. Provide contract support and contract compliance: Monitor and respond to contract‑related service requests and queries, support self‑service models and internal contracting processes. Ensure accurate contract metadata and repository management across the CLM system (document management, naming conventions, folder structure). Oversee contract lifecycle workflows and approval routing, and maintain contract templates and clause libraries. Manage the training and education assets of the Contracting CoE (user guides, videos, FAQs). Set‑up contracts in the CLM system (post‑signature) including bulk upload of contracts. Coordinate contract activation and obligation tracking. Contribute to change‑management initiatives related to contracting transformation (to improve contracting maturity and adoption of CLMS tools). Liaise with and work collaboratively with multiple internal teams (transformation team, risk and legal teams), the Clients and Markets’ Account teams and the CLMS application and technical support team. Facilitate teamwork and create a collaborative environment. How Are you Extraordinary? Experience working in a large professional services organisation or equivalent. Strong understanding and knowledge of contracts and contractual obligations including terms, structures, compliance and contractual risks. Experience managing contracts and related processes across the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to execution and renewal. Familiar with contract lifecycle management solutions (CLMS) and reporting tools. Technology competent with experience in leveraging AI‑powered analytics to provide insights and personalised customer experience. Up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends and changes, especially in contract management. Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of organisation. Demonstrated attention to detail, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and a strong drive to collaboratively develop commercial solutions to complex matters. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities across a wide variety of tasks and projects, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Law, Commerce, Business Administration or related field. 4+ years’ experience in commercial contract management, preferably in a professional services or matrixed environment. Current or prior legal or professional services experience (highly valued). Commercial Contract Management certification (highly valued).
