Otraco (a subsidiary of BMSA ) is a world leading provider of Earthmover & Off‑road tyre management services to the mining industry. We are currently seeking a Senior Commercial Specialist to work out of our Head Office in a state‑of-the-art building in Sydney Olympic Park. You will report to the Senior Legal Counsel & together you will support our commercial strategy & legal compliance. You will identify & understand our customers' needs & the business opportunities within the contracting & tender processes. A clear understanding of the commercial & legal limitations of BMSA &our customers is paramount. The Benefits Competitive salary WFH up to 2 days / week post probation Allocated undercover car space Career development within the global Bridgestone business 5 days extra leave every year after 2 years of employment An extra 5 days leave as a one off at each 5 year employment milestone Health checks / free flu shots / free on-site gym Product discounts on Bridgestone Tyres Additional benefits & staff discounts The Opportunity Development & enhance our ability to identify contractual, commercial & legal risks, utilising best practice to eliminate or mitigate Provide timely, accurate & commercially focused advice on contractual issues Review & optimise business outcomes through sub-contract administration, commercial risk analysis, insurance monitoring, reporting & control Coordinate the central review of Requests for Information, Quotations & Tenders Lead the drafting, negotiation & execution of high-value commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, service contracts & licensing arrangements Develop & maintain contract templates, playbooks & negotiation guidelines Lead or support dispute resolution & contract enforcement matters About You - Essential Relevant Legal, Commercial or Business qualifications (Legal qualifications highly regarded) Demostrated experience in commercial contract management, preferably within a legal or regulatory environment Strong understanding of Australian contract law & regulatory frameworks Proven experience negotiating complex commercial agreements Current work rights in Australia Join a global leader & access product discounts, career progression & training opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
