About the Role We’re seeking an ambitious and organised Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This role will play a pivotal part in coordinating day‑to‑day campaign activity for a major high‑profile consumer brand, supporting delivery across sponsorship, brand activations, events and partnerships. As well as working closely with clients, rights holders, suppliers, and PLAY‑managed athletes to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and on budget while contributing creative ideas that elevate our work and strengthen relationships. This role will be based on the Sunshine Coast, with select days based in Brisbane, occasional travel to regional Queensland, and interstate events. Some weekend and after‑hours work will be required around key activations, events, and campaigns. Key Responsibilities Marketing Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels. Contribute to creative campaign ideation, messaging, and brand storytelling for clients and PLAY. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all marketing activity is consistent, engaging, and on‑brand. Monitor campaign performance and consumer engagement, identifying insights and opportunities for optimisation. Sponsorship & Activation Coordinate event activations, game‑day experiences, retail promotions and community engagement programs. Liaise with rights holders and venues to execute sponsorship entitlements and branding. Coordinate logistics and production of event collateral, signage, merchandise and promotional material. Client & Campaign Management Support the delivery of integrated sponsorship and marketing campaigns for national consumer brands. Manage day‑to‑day communication with clients and partners, ensuring activity aligns with brand and campaign objectives. Assist with creative development, briefing designers, content creators, and production suppliers. Track campaign timelines, budgets, approvals and reporting milestones. Content, Social & Digital Assist with social media and content planning around campaigns and partnerships. Coordinate digital asset approvals, tagging, and reporting across brand and partner platforms. Support data capture and measurement of campaign impact. Reporting & Insights Prepare post‑campaign reports and recaps highlighting results, media exposure, fan engagement and brand impact. Contribute to research and insights that inform future campaign planning. Skills & Experience 2 to 4 years’ experience in marketing, sponsorship, or events ideally within sport, lifestyle or entertainment. Experience managing campaigns for a consumer brand or rights holder preferred. Strong project management and organisational skills, with an eye for detail. Confident communicator who builds strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Hands‑on, proactive, and adaptable; thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Competent in Canva and CRM platforms; familiarity with social media management tools a plus. Flexibility to travel and work weekends or evenings for events and activations. Why Join PLAY?
