Vet Nurse - Hybrid - Work from Home Petsy Pet Insurance Australia is looking for a dynamic and proactive Vet Nurse / Customer Care and Member Care Consultant to join our vibrant team. In this role you will undergo comprehensive training to help you effectively support our valued customers and members while providing stellar customer service across multiple channels. Pay Range Base pay range: $37,000.00/yr – $48,000.00/yr About Petsy Petsy is a transparent, award‑winning pet insurance provider that helps pet owners protect their dogs and cats with innovative products. Responsibilities Respond to customer enquiries via email, phone, and social media platforms. Provide comprehensive information to customers about our pet insurance products. Handle and resolve customer concerns and queries regarding our services or policies. Assist customers in making insurance claims and guide them through the process. Liaise with vets and pet‑related businesses to resolve follow‑ups. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team. Process changes to customer accounts, such as updating contact details or modifying insurance policies. Collaborate with the rest of the customer service team to maintain a consistent and high standard of service. Maintain a solid understanding of product updates, policy changes, and industry trends to provide accurate information. Assist in developing scripts or FAQs to address common customer queries. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Hours & Location Full‑time and part‑time roles are available. Our office is based in the Sydney CBD, with satellite offices across Australia. After initial on‑site training at the office for the first few weeks, you will be able to work from home while attending the office 3 days a week. Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organised and capable of meeting deadlines. Passionate with a can‑do attitude. Genuine interest in pets – dogs, cats, or both. No prior experience with pet or other insurance products required, though it would be helpful. No need for veterinary experience; vet nurses and veterinary students thrive in our team.
