About the Role As a valued member of our Catering Team, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional food service by preparing patient meal trays, taking meal orders, and supporting basic food preparation tasks. We currently have multiple part‑time and casual positions available Responsibilities Setting up service lines and serving meals and beverages in line with dietary requirements and hospital standards. Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment at all times. Assisting the broader catering team with daily operations and special requests. Monitoring and managing stock levels to ensure efficient service delivery. Working across a rotating 7‑day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts. Your Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will be a reliable team player with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to patient care and food safety. You thrive in a busy environment and bring a customer‑focused approach to everything you do. A solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety practices. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional manner. The ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively. Previous experience in a hospital or commercial kitchen setting (highly regarded but not essential). Flexibility to work across a 7‑day roster and shifts. A willingness to embrace and promote Ramsay Health Care’s core values. Certificate II or III in Hospitality (desirable). Knowledge of HACCP and food handling compliance. Renumeration On offer is a base rate of $27.30 - $30.13 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (QLD Support Services).
