The Opportunity Nestled within 42 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in the leafy suburb of Ashmore, The Domain Country Club is a resort-style community that is home to 370+ independent living units and apartments. As aFood & Beverage Att, you'll enjoy working in a fast-paced and friendly hospitality environment to deliver high-quality meals and customer service to residents. You'll be a great communicator with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service and enjoy a mix of working in the kitchen and front of house We have an opportunity for part-time Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team working approximately 10-6.30pm. Availability on a Friday and one weekend day is a must. What we offer $28.62 / hr + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation Ability to work extra shifts as a Food & Beverage Attendant, or in other areas of the community A great place to start or further your hospitalitycareer Employee ReferralProgramand Employee Assistance Program Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community You will Provide a high level of Customer Service to residents during lunch or dinner service times and during restaurant hours Assist in the daily preparation of meals (e.g light kitchen prep, plating of meals etc.) Assist with the delivery of food & beverages Complete set up and pack down of restaurant space Follow all kitchen and restaurant hygiene practices (which will include general cleaning and washing up) What you'll bring Experience in a fast-paced hospitality, restaurant or customer service environment (highly regarded) A friendly and warm persona with a passion forbuilding relationships and chatting with residents Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you) Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required) Who we are As a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience,Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
