As one of Queensland’s earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: to conserve and advance our natural and cultural heritage for future generations. As we continue to welcome visitors to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, we have multiple opportunities for a passionate and hands-on casual Food & Beverage Attendants to support our dedicated Food and Beverage Team and work across our busy outlets & event spaces. About the Role Reporting to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, your duties will include customer service, providing friendly food & beverage counter service, basic food preparation, and assisting with in-park events and functions. This role will deliver an amazing guest experience in an energetic, courteous, and professional manner. The successful applicants will have proven Food & Beverage experience, willingness to undertake a variety of hospitality tasks, be a team player, and have an enthusiastic approach to your work. Cleaning duties such as table clearing, ensuring counter areas are well presented and refreshed & assisting with dish room duties as required. Understanding of each outlet menu offerings; provide suggestions and up-sell food and beverage items. You will maintain visual presentation and product offerings of outlet, ensuring they meet food safety standards and cleanliness. About You To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated individual who holds commitment to meeting the needs of our valued customers. Excellent time management and communication skills and ability to work in an efficient and practical manner is required. You will be someone that is committed to delivering high levels of customer service. You will have a sense of fun, be able to work autonomously. Other key skills and qualifications we are looking for include: You must be a hardworking, friendly & cooperative: being reliable and a ‘can-do’ attitude is a key part of the job. Must be self-directed with excellent time management and ability to work calmly under pressure. Excellent attention to detail & a high level of personal presentation is required. Maintain high standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation. Flexible and availability to work across weekends.
