Our Disability Support team are a passionate group of individuals working together to empower our clients in pursing the dignity of independence. They demonstrate the Brightwater spirit that iscaring,authentic,progressive,andcourageousand welcome other like-minded support workers to join their team. We are seeking passionate and experienced Disability Support Workers (DSW) to join our Marangaroo team. Our Marangaroo team offer a Transitional Accommodation Program to clients seeking support before moving back into the community. Brightwater can offer you: The ability to salary package – meaning you can legitimately pay less tax and increase your take-home pay Our unique staff benefitsprogram, including access to BrightwaterPlus which gives you discounts with over 370 retailers Fulfilling careers and professional development opportunities To be suitable for this role, you must possess: A Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability (or progress towards), or significant experience in a related setting and a willingness to undertake training Strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality care Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in various environments and the ability to inclusively communicate with a diverse range of people Proven customer-focused work ethic Strong person-centred skills and behaviours in communicating and engaging and with clients with high support needs Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and use resources effectively, safely and efficiently A First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old) or willing to obtain within 2 weeks of commencement NDIS Worker Screening clearance Current valid driver’s licence to drive in Western Australia, as defined by the WA Department of Transport.
