Job Overview Fern Bay Motel is a busy 4‑star property located in Fern Bay (near Stockton). The role is a casual front‑of‑house receptionist, primarily at Fern Bay and occasionally at the adjacent Merewether Motel. Responsibilities Check guests in and out. Answer the phone, take reservations, and respond to emails. Reconcile daily transactions and prepare tax invoices. Manage accounts and oversee financial record‑keeping. Deliver and collect room service. Cook breakfasts. Perform general cleaning and support housekeeping when required. Other duties as needed to maintain a clean and tidy motel. Qualifications & Requirements Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate. Prior motel or hospitality experience preferable, but not essential. Great communicator with an outgoing and friendly personality. Punctual, reliable and able to work an approximate 15–20 hours per week on a 7‑day week roster with a range of shifts.
