ABOUT THE ROLE AFL NSW/ACT Coach Developers aim to deliver coach learning methods (coach education, facilitation, assessing, mentoring and reflection) with club coaches within their coaching context at club level. Trained coach developers will work with clubs and club coaches to identify individual performance & learning needs, while targeting whole-club coaching development of coaches within participating clubs. Coaching behavioural change and creating a ‘player centred’ environment are key focuses of Coach Developers. Coach developers include all those who have undergone training to fulfil coach learning delivery methods to support effective coach development within coach’s context and that meet the learner’s (coach’s) unique needs in specific situations. This deepens the coach reflection, enriching the on‑the‑job experiences and accelerating the onset of coach expertise. We will be closed for our annual closure period from December , returning January . Over this closure period, applications will not be responded to during this time.
