Senior Contract Administrator We’re delivering a major upgrade at Barry Beach Marine Terminal for a long‑term client enabling them to decommission oil and gas rigs that has reached the end of their lifespan. This project will strengthen wharves, install massive piles, and construct heavy‑duty slabs and pavements in preparation for one of the most significant offshore transitions in decades, and this project is the foundation that makes it possible. Key Responsibilities Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors, providing recommendations to the Project Manager. Develop subcontractor scopes aligned with the main D&C contract. Oversee subcontract management including payment claims and final accounts. Monitor compliance with QDC’s safety and quality standards. Prepare, review, and submit project variations. Track costs, progress, and scheduling, including subcontractor payments. Prepare comprehensive contract documentation from concept to commissioning. Support technical, practical, and safety aspects of industrial and commercial projects. Essential Qualifications & Experience Certificate or tertiary qualification in Contract Administration or equivalent trade background. 7–10+ years’ experience in contract administration, preferably on D&C projects. Strong knowledge of standard construction contracts and variation processes. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft365, Procore, 1Breadcrumb, and Workbench. Exposure to marine infrastructure, piling, or wharf works. Skills & Attributes Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong analytical and financial acumen for cost tracking and risk management. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Collaborative approach with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
