Job description We are seeking a Property Lawyer with 5+ years post‑admission experience to join our client's close‑knit team. You will work directly with the firm’s Accredited Specialist and receive the full support of an experienced paralegal and PA. This is a rare opportunity to work across a sophisticated range of property matters, including compulsory acquisition, statutory trustee matters, complex developments, leasing, and property litigation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on technical legal work, values autonomy, and is looking to take their career to the next level under the mentorship of a highly regarded specialist. Key Responsibilities Advise on and manage owner‑side compulsory acquisition matters Handle subdivision and flat land development work from acquisition to sell‑out Act as statutory trustee in court‑appointed matters Provide tailored advice on property disputes and litigation including easement and neighbour issues Conduct bespoke conveyancing and leasing (minimal volume) Draft and negotiate commercial and retail leasing agreements Consult with other law firms on complex property law issues Qualifications Minimum 4+ years post‑admission experience, primarily in property law Demonstrated experience in compulsory acquisition, development / subdivision, statutory trustee work, commercial / retail leasing, easement and boundary disputes Strong analytical and drafting skills Exceptional attention to detail and a practical, commercial mindset A client‑first approach with excellent communication skills Why is This a Great Opportunity Our client is a specialist property law firm led by one of Queensland's 25 Accredited Specialists in Property Law.
