About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Road Feeder Services Pty Ltd in Georges Hall/Mascot, NSW . In this pivotal position, you will oversee the daily operations of our logistics and interstate airfreight transport business, ensuring the seamless delivery of services and supporting a high-performing team. What You’ll Be Doing Overseeing day-to-day transport operations, including preloading & positioning trailers, vehicle dispatch, driver coordination, and freight scheduling Supervising a team of professional drivers, ensuring compliance with NHVR regulations, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and fatigue management policies Monitoring trip performance, route efficiency, and timely pickups/deliveries across interstate linehaul services Acting as the first point of contact for operational issues, delays, or incidents and resolving them promptly Ensuring all vehicles and equipment are safe, roadworthy, and meet compliance requirements Conducting pre-shift briefings, toolbox talks, and regular safety checks Coordinating with airline terminals, warehouses, and customer service teams to meet strict airfreight cut-off times Reviewing transport data and delivery KPIs to identify areas for performance improvement Supporting driver onboarding, mentoring, and performance reviews What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Transport Supervisor , Operations Coordinator , or Team Leader within the road transport or airfreight logistics industry Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle operations , NHVR regulations , Chain of Responsibility (CoR) , and fatigue management Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of drivers , fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and professionalism Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to unexpected operational challenges Proficient with transport management systems (TMS) , GPS tracking platforms, and Microsoft Office applications Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders A proactive mindset with a keen eye for operational improvements and process optimisation Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) certification – highly regarded but not essential Flexibility to work varying shifts (including early mornings, evenings, or weekends) including overtime, based on operational needs A valid HC or MC licence – highly regarded but not essential What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package A supportive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture Opportunities for professional development and career growth A modern, fast-paced working environment with real impact Stability and growth in a trusted, national logistics brand About Us Road Feeder Services Pty Ltd is a dedicated provider in the airfreight transport sector, providing high-quality, efficient, and reliable logistics solutions across Australia.
