Director - Property Development & Construction Recruitment Base pay range A$200,000.00/yr - A$240,000.00/yr Company Overview A well-established builder–developer with 25+ years’ experience delivering inner-city medium-to-high-rise residential and commercial projects across Queensland. The group is known for its quality builds, long-standing subcontractor relationships and a strong, stable pipeline across the Brisbane region. Position Summary The Site Foreman will oversee day-to-day operations for a dual-tower high-rise apartment development. You will coordinate trades, drive programme milestones, maintain site safety and uphold strict quality standards. This role suits an experienced Foreman with proven high-rise or large-scale residential experience. Key Responsibilities Site Management & Coordination Manage daily onsite operations across both towers. Coordinate subcontractors, labour, deliveries and inspections. Ensure construction activities align with the project programme. Lead site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings. Quality & Compliance Maintain high construction standards in line with specifications and building codes. Conduct regular quality checks and rectify defects promptly. Manage site records, daily diaries and progress updates. Health, Safety & Environment Enforce WHS protocols across the site. Conduct risk assessments and manage safety issues proactively. Promote a strong safety culture among all subcontractors and site personnel. Stakeholder Communication Provide regular progress updates and highlight risks or resourcing needs. Liaise with engineers, consultants, inspectors and certifiers. Maintain effective subcontractor relationships to ensure smooth workflow. Skills & Experience 5–10+ years’ construction site experience, including 3–5+ years as a Foreman. Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 builders is highly regarded. Proven delivery of high-rise residential or large-scale apartment projects (ideally 10+ storeys). Strong knowledge of building codes, sequencing and trade coordination. Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities. Solid WHS understanding with the ability to enforce compliance. Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced, programme-driven environment. Qualifications Trade qualification (Carpentry or similar) preferred. White Card (required).
