Email Marketing Specialist

Overview Are you a marketing professional with a proven track record in engaging B2C customers and driving repeat purchases? We’re seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing eCommerce team, with a strong focus on the platform Dotdigital. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end process of creating and executing campaigns, refining automated journeys, and driving loyalty initiatives that deliver measurable results for a high-volume B2C brand. While Dotdigital expertise is highly regarded, experience with other eCommerce marketing and retention platforms such as Yotpo and Magento is also valuable. What You’ll Be Doing As an Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll manage the full lifecycle of our retention marketing across email and SMS, ensuring every touchpoint strengthens customer loyalty and customer lifetime value: Email & SMS Campaigns: Build, launch, and optimise B2C campaigns that engage customers, drive conversions, and support promotions. Automation & Workflows: Design and refine automated flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, replenishment, winback) to nurture first-time buyers into loyal repeat customers. Loyalty & Retention: Execute targeted retention strategies and integrate loyalty tools (e.g., Yotpo) to increase repeat purchase rate. Review & Feedback Campaigns: Create initiatives that drive product reviews, referrals, and customer advocacy. Performance Analysis: Track campaign KPIs and revenue contribution using Dotdigital, Google Analytics 4, and Magento data, uncovering actionable insights. Audience Segmentation: Use behavioural and transactional data to deliver highly personalised B2C communications. Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with acquisition, creative, and product teams to align lifecycle campaigns with promotions, new launches, and seasonal trading moments. Customer Journey Focus: Ensure a seamless B2C journey that improves LTV and reduces CAC payback. What We’re Looking For Email Marketing Expertise: Proven experience running campaigns for an eCommerce brand. Technology Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Dotdigital or similar; familiarity with Magento and Yotpo is highly valuable. Customer Journey Insight: Ability to map and optimise the end-to-end eCommerce lifecycle. Analytical Mindset: Skilled at using data to improve engagement, repeat purchase, and contribution margin. Creative & Detail-Oriented: Strong in messaging, copywriting, and campaign execution. Organised & Adaptable: Able to manage multiple campaigns in a high-volume, fast-paced eCommerce environment. Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills across product, marketing, and creative teams.
