Workplace Location

Our Community office is in Fingal Bay, one of NSW favourite holiday destinations PSVCAC is perfectly positioned to enjoy the Peninsula and the surrounding areas.

About the role

We are looking for more than experience, we are looking for the “right attitude”. As one of our Home Care Workers, you will provide quality one on one care to our clients in their homes. Your day-to-day tasks include domestic duties, cleaning, meal preparation, personal care, grocery shopping, social activities as well as driving our clients to and from appointments.

This role will suit you if you love to work independently within our community, whilst focusing on quality care for one client at a time.

Shift times may range from 7am to 8pm. We are looking for candidates who can be available across the 7 day working week.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria;

Essential:

  • Previous domestic working experience.
  • Have the ability to be flexible, prioritising workloads and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently or unsupervised in the community environment and good time management.
  • Have an awareness of WHS requirements, particularly in manual handling and infection control skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, communication skills – both written and verbal.

Desirable:

  • A knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Sector.
  • First aid certificate
