Apply for the IT Support Administrator role at The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) . About You As one of our IT Support Administrators, you’ll bring previous experience providing IT support both in person and over the phone, with a strong customer service focus. Your communication skills (verbal and written) will be exceptional, and you’ll have the ability to troubleshoot, problem‑solve, and deliver practical solutions to stakeholders. To succeed in the role, you will demonstrate: Familiar with ITIL Foundation or similar ITSM principles. A minimum of a diploma in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or Computer Science. Technical experience administering and supporting various technologies, including: Microsoft Windows Devices Active Directory Users & Computers Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Teams Microsoft Exchange Online Microsoft SharePoint Online Mobile Device Management IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or similar) About The Opportunity Provide IT support to RACGP stakeholders, primarily desktop and application support, while processing service requests and incident response to RACGP employees. Administer user accounts, email distribution lists, mailboxes, telephony, mobile devices and make authorised access control changes. Follow account creation and termination processes to ensure new employees have technology facilities to start in their role and to protect the college when they depart. Maintain IT inventory of spare parts, client machines, loan equipment, applications, mobile devices, and software and employee asset allocations. Provision and configure hardware for staff, including laptops and mobile devices. Provide meeting room technology support, including AV equipment and video conferencing tools. Troubleshoot desktop user application environment and technology services issues, escalating to vendors or SME’s where required. Provide support to staff by building and maintaining procedure documents, user guides and enhancing the knowledge base of the Service Desk. Make recommendations to develop or improve systems and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT customer service delivery.
