Description Salesforce Consultant – CRM Rollout & Custom Development. Working both onsite at our head office in Tamworth and remotely throughout each week. 6 months contract starting immediately. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Consultant to support the rollout of Salesforce as our new CRM platform. The role will focus on ensuring a smooth go‑live, delivering training and user support for all stakeholders, and contributing to the custom development of advanced functionality to meet business needs. In addition, the consultant will support the onboarding and integration of a new telephone system, including functionality for card payment processing, ensuring seamless connectivity and user experience across platforms. This is a hands‑on position that combines technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and training delivery to ensure Salesforce is successfully embedded across the organisation. Duties Key Responsibilities Lead go‑live readiness activities, including data validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution. Provide hands‑on support during the go‑live phase to ensure smooth user adoption and system stability. Design and configure custom objects and relationships, including: Linking Opportunities to multiple users (e.g., opportunity collaboration/sharing model). Linking Contracts to multiple users for joint ownership or workflow purposes. Develop and refine a target data model to support reporting, automation, and scalability. Build Lightning Web Components to provide intuitive and interactive data visualisations and dashboards. Implement automations to streamline business processes. Design and implement a case/complaint management object, including Email‑to‑Case, queues for sales and operations teams with appropriate approval workflows where needed. A streamlined Case page layout for efficient complaint handling and resolution and development of basic service dashboards to monitor case volume, response times, and resolution rates. Support the onboarding and configuration of the new telephone system within Salesforce including the integration of card payment processing workflows linked to customer and opportunity records. Participate in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of telephony and payment integrations. Deliver first‑line functional and technical support for post‑launch issues and queries. Develop and deliver targeted Salesforce training for all user groups. Create user guides, quick reference materials, and walkthroughs to support self‑service learning. Requirements Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Salesforce Consultant, Developer, or Technical Specialist on Salesforce CRM implementations. Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and custom object relationships. Demonstrable experience in Lightning Web Component (LWC) development and UI customisation. Expertise in Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Apex, Process Builder). Experience building data models and integrating Salesforce with other systems (preferred). Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in training delivery and user enablement. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Consultant) are advantageous. Key Deliverables Successful Salesforce go‑live with trained and confident users. Functional custom objects and automations linking Opportunities and Contracts to multiple users. Operational target data model with accurate reporting capability. Tested and validated Lightning Web Components supporting key visualisations.
