Do work that matters We’re looking for a commercial lending Business Banker to join our team in Adelaide, SA. In this role, you’ll contribute to the success of a high-performing branch by delivering exceptional service to Small Business customers. You’ll support their business and personal goals through end-to-end fulfilment and proactive engagement. You’ll also play a key role in business development within your local community, acting as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador for CommBank. More specifically, you will : Facilitate meaningful customer conversations to understand goals and provide timely, relevant solutions Originate a range of business solutions including commercial lending up to $1.25M, asset finance, merchant facilities, and everyday banking Proactively engage customers with insights and support across both business and personal needs, including home ownership solutions Represent CommBank in the local business community, building awareness of our Small Business Banking proposition Host small business education events to support financial wellbeing Attend key stakeholder meetings to build referral partnerships and address service pain points We want to hear from you have : Experience in commercial lending or B2B sales Home lending experience Strong financial analysis skills and commercial acumen Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills Proven ability to manage customer pipelines and facilitate proactive contact Passion for supporting Small Business customers, or direct experience in running one FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2, or willingness to obtain within 6 months Formal training to support home lending discussions (e.g. Cert IV in Banking Services – preferred) Our culture At CommBank, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
