Hospital Coordinator - part time or casual Mulgrave Private Hospital is an acute medical and surgical hospital with 246 beds, conveniently located in the south‑eastern suburbs of Melbourne easily accessible via the Monash Freeway and East Link. Our services include: 24‑hour Emergency Department 10 bed Intensive Care Unit 17 bed Coronary Care Unit 9 Operating Theatres including a Hybrid Theatre, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and Endoscopy Suite Short Stay Unit Medical & Surgical Wards Consulting Suites (on‑site and off‑site) Pathology Radiation Oncology (operated by ICON) About the Role The Hospital Coordinator assists the Executive team by facilitating the operational management of the hospital in relation to clinical leadership, timely patient access and patient flow, appropriate staffing levels and emergency response procedures, both clinical and non‑clinical. This role is essential in the daily management and operational status of the hospital. The successful candidate will have to display an understanding of work hours, labour management and budgetary acumen. The Hospital Coordinator is a role model for all staff, demonstrating the ability to develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with our staff, visiting medical officers, patients and visitors. Required skills Registered Nurse Division One with current AHPRA registration. Previous management experience in an acute private or public hospital preferably at Nurse Unit Manager, Hospital Coordinator or similar level. Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and lateral problem‑solving skills. Well organised, demonstrating the ability to prioritise and multitask in a complex environment. Post graduate qualification in critical care or management is desirable but not essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
