Building Supervisor Insurance Repairs - South Brisbane Gold Coast Our clients are construction professionals operating in the Insurance Building Repair industry. Currently they're seeking a talented and flexible individual with exceptional people skills and strong Construction Supervision experience for the Brisbane South / Gold Coast region. About the role You’ll be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of building reinstatement works on properties, the majority of them in the $0 - $75k price bracket. Key Tasks Negotiating with sub-contractors and coordinating their presence on site. Arranging supplies of materials and equipment and verifying delivery. Maintaining and updating progress of jobs in a simple buteffective manner. Maintaining excellent communication with Property Owners throughout. Completing quality assurance inspections. Monitoring and controlling spend to budget. To be successful in this role it is expected that you understand relevant building regulations, codes of practice and WH&S. You must be trade qualified. Carpentry trade background is advantageous. Ideally you hold a current QBCC Supervisors Licence. Importantly, you'll need to be a great communicator & have strong organisational skills. Preference for applicants who have previous experience working within the Insurance Industry.
