This digital business is the marketplace engine behind several household retail brands powering everything from product discovery and orders to stock visibility and loyalty integration. It’s a complex, backend‑heavy environment that’s now primed for a major greenfield rebuild. About the Role You’ll step into a high‑impact Technical Lead position – part of a collaborative engineering leadership team that’s modernising core systems, embedding observability, and driving the next wave of platform capability across multiple retail banners. Tech stack: .NET (backend), Next.js (frontend), AWS + EDD (cloud) Scope: Multiple UIs (internal, partner, and customer‑facing) Split: ~30‑40% hands‑on coding | ~60‑70% leadership and team direction You’ll work alongside another Tech Lead, partnering across squads to shape standards, lift delivery quality, and guide technical strategy. This is a business transitioning from “delivery mode” to a true product‑led, iterative engineering culture – where you’ll help set the tone for how teams work, communicate, and deliver impact.
