About the Role We’re looking for committed, motivated and detail‑oriented people to join our team. This role supports our trade customers with quotes & orders, ideal for those with a trade, building material knowledge or experience preparing customer quotes. If you’re currently within the building industry creating customer quotes this is an ideal role and large business to grow your skills and progress your career. Responsibilities Processing of customer orders & quotes by phone and email Preparing accurate quotes related to customer orders Following up with builders to convert quotes to orders Monitoring orders and ensuring delays are communicated to the builders Review invoices to ensure accuracy at all times Undertake regular product training with market‑leading brands Work as part of a network of people with their finger on the pulse knowing what is going on in the local building and construction market Qualifications & Skills The ability to converse with customers and build key relationships Demonstrated experience in preparing customer orders and quotes or similar Knowledge and previous experience in building materials and associated products High level of computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly Exceptional attention to detail coupled with high level of accuracy Manual Vehicle Licence Benefits Rewards and discounts program Staff and fuel discount schemes offered Everyone gets paid to take a day off for their birthday Uniform provided, so you can look the part Ongoing training with plenty of opportunities for people with the right attitude Job security from a long-standing respected employer in the Cairns region Please Note We are an equal opportunity employer with a zero tolerance to Drugs and Alcohol in the workplace and conduct regular random workplace testing.
