You may be required to obtain a forklift license if successful. About this work area As Warehouse Team Leader your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse co-workers to deliver goods within agreed timeframes, quality standards, and with the lowest possible operational costs with customers, Customer Meeting Points, and total supply chain as the primary focus of work Ensuring that yourself and the co-workers around you possess a safety mindset, work in compliance with the internal IKEA regulations, standard operating procedures and local legislation relating to health, safety and security and the environment. Planning, organising, and monitoring the logistics operations, ensuring co-workers are aware of their responsibilities and processes are complete on time. Support your manager in managing the recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning and competence development of the team. Ensuring co-workers are actively supported in their daily work and you actively develop, coach and mentor your team through set reviews and on the job conversations. Responsible for completion of quality processes and tasks to secure available goods to the Customer Meeting Points and customers. As Goods Flow Team Leader you are: Passionate about Logistics and how it contributes to creating customer satisfaction & a seamless shopping experience Comfortable working a mix of strategic, tactical, and operational tasks. You enjoy working in a fast paced, vibrant, and changing multidimensional environment. A people’s person, with proven experience leading & developing people and thrive in building relations and influencing others. Able to demonstrate a strong safety mindset, leading yourself and others, to provide a safe working environment, whilst delivering results.
