Job Title Home Care Worker (2) - Fairfield West - PPT - Experienced Location Fairfield West, NSW 2165 Job Overview We are looking for a Care Worker with at least 3 months of experience in a similar role to support older members of our community in maintaining their independence and wellbeing. Benefits Guaranteed hours and shifts Award rate $32.86 per hour + Super + paid km’s Employee benefits program + salary packaging up to $18,550 tax‑free each year Accelerated learning programme to gain professional qualifications (Cert 3) Paid CPR and First Aid courses Responsibilities General housekeeping and making beds Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors Washing, folding and ironing laundry Meal preparation and grocery shopping Assisting with personal care: getting clients in and out of bed, showered and dressed Assisting with mobility and therapy goals Providing complex care for clients with high care needs such as dementia Providing social and emotional support Transporting clients to lifestyle activities or appointments Supporting family carers by giving them time to rest Qualifications & Desired Traits Open Australian Driver’s Licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle Experience of 3 months or more in a similar role Enjoy variety in the day Passionate about providing excellent service Ability to build positive relationships with clients and families Can stay calm and not take criticism personally Comfortable working independently and seeking help when needed Application Process Submit your application by clicking ‘Apply’.
