Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business ProcessAnalysis:

Lead analysis of existing businessprocesses to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.·

Providing and directingrecommendations for process re-design and improvements and business solutions,enabling changes to processes, policy and/or information that support Westpacto achieve targeted business outcomes and deliver business value.

Requirement Gathering:

Lead and collaborate withstakeholders across different departments within WIB to gather and documentbusiness requirements for transformational initiatives (FY24 & FY25).·

Leading the definition,elicitation, prioritisation and validation of requirements and design ofbusiness processes to meet the needs of the organisation.

Managing thedevelopment of detailed Business Requirements, Business Process Specificationsand/or System Functional / Non-Functional Specifications that will drive thedesired change to business process, system enhancement / development activities.

Best Practice & Compliance – ProjectDocumentation:

Understand and adhere toenterprise methodologies and processes such as the Project Execution Framework(PEFm) and Requirements Development Framework (RDF).Training & Support:

Develop training materials andprovide guidance to end-users to ensure effective utilisation of new systemsand/or processes.·

Supporting testing, training,and implementation activities to ensure the successful delivery of the overallbusiness and technology solutions.

Risk Management:

Ensure that risks are managed inaccordance with set risk frameworks. Support and prepare business impact andrisk assessments for the proposed change and/or recommended business solutionwhich mitigates the risks with associated costs and benefits;

facilitatingchallenging discussion in relation to risk with Principal BA/ Project Manager,and relevant stakeholders.Core

Knowledge and Experience

Knowledge

Tertiary qualifications or equivalentexperience desirable

·

Desired business and/or technology tertiaryqualifications.

·

Desired Lean Six Sigma - Green beltcertification or equivalent.

·

A strong understanding of technology andbusiness systems strategically and operationally.

·

Knowledge of project management disciplinesand financial services; and

·

Coaching and mentoring skills.

Experience

3-7 years of businessprocess improvement/re-engineering, data analysis, system functional /non-functional analysis experience and business case preparationexperience.For example:

·

Lead Business Analyst in major end-to-end businessprocess re-engineering or business transformation initiatives.

·

Lead Business Analyst in major informationtechnology delivery projects ensuring solution enables business processes todeliver the desired business outcomes and value.

·

Facilitation of business solution workshopsinvolving participants from senior management to business users.
