Laundry Volunteer (Tues/Thurs), Scarborough Dementia Residential Care, Miranda If you have been uniting mismatched socks since forever, then this role is for you Responsibilities Attend for a few hours on a Tuesday or Thursday to assist with returned clothing drops to our care site. Provide social support while engaging with residents. Sort and return dry cleaning door to door at our 8 cottages. Impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit and for yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help improve quality of life and reduce isolation.
