About the company Our client is an industrial manufacturer seeking a Cost Accountant who can start immediately with a potential for extension and permanent. About the role The Cost Accountant role would start off as a 3-month contract with potential for extension or permanent, based full-time at their head office in Bayswater. The role reports into The CFO and is responsible for: Maintaining accurate product costs Assisting in the preparation of annual product budgets Providing pricing and costing analysis to support business opportunities and decisions Ensuring the master database is kept up to date and accurate Providing accurate reports and reconciliations for a number of different areas of the business Calculating customer rebates and accruals and price amendments Maintaining process and procedure documentation relating to the role About you Tertiary Qualification in Accounting or similar Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent Experience in costing products in a manufacturing environment Good attention to detail High critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Good computer literacy skills and comfort with various types of technology Ability to work well as a team and interact with different groups of people How to apply Click the Apply Now button and we will be in touch. #J-18808-Ljbffr
