These services include Asphalt Laying, Bitumen Spray Sealing, Road Profiling and Asphalt Manufacture. The company has depots based in Toowoomba, Queensland and Parkes, New South Wales. About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Supervisor based in Toowoomba or Brisbane. The primary purpose of this role is to lead, supervise and control various projects, to agreed budgets and programs, ensuring all specifications and quality parameters are achieved in a safe and cost‑efficient manner. The role will involve travel, as our work is largely influenced by customer demand, but generally for short periods of time. Key responsibilities for this position include Work site inspections Daily job planning, resource allocation, performance monitoring and overseeing quality Managing the relationship with the client's site personnel Responsible for the financial performance of the project Mentoring and training Asphalt crew members Conducting toolbox meetings Ensure the completion of all site reports on a daily basis Ensure that hazard reporting and risk management is undertaken during the project works Resolution of all quality and performance issues Ensure a safe workplace The Ideal Candidate will possess the following essential skills and experience: Previous experience in Asphalt, Civil Road Construction, Bitumen Industry or equivalent is essential Valid White card Valid Driver's Licence Able to lead and motivate a team Able to handle multiple responsibilities Able to work & live away from home when required In return we offer: Immediate start.
