Semi or Fully Qualified Marine Technician Wanted Want to work in the best brand of outboard on the market, that would be Yamaha R & M Marine Services is a thriving marine workshop located in Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula and we have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and knowledgeable Mechanic to join our busy Service Department. Being a Yamaha Dealer you will have extensive ongoing training throughout your employment. We are seeking a semi-qualified or experienced and trade qualified Mechanic who is reliable, flexible, energetic, displays a strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team. General Responsibilities and Duties Carry out general inboard and outboard mechanical repairs and servicing work, including maintenance and overhaul, using hand and power tools and other machinery as required. Take direction from Manager regarding work to be completed. Report to Manager on a regular basis regarding progress and quality of work. Ensure all work areas are left clean at the end of each day, and company equipment is maintained as required. Adherence to company policies and procedures, including (but not limited to) OHS and quality procedures. Ongoing training. Skills and Experience Required Certified or Accredited Mechanic or Marine Mechanic or Third Year Apprentice Prior experience in a related role. Demonstrated ability to follow company procedures. Demonstrated ability to complete jobs in a timely manner and to quality standards. High level of recording tasks and materials.
