Responsibilities and Qualifications Platform specific safety familiarisation course (or equivalent) Competence assessment on the task being authorised System or component specific courses for component level maintenance An understanding of Plan, Brief, Execute, Debrief (PBED) principles Demonstrated understanding of WH&S requirements Demonstrate an understanding of the effects of Human Factors in Maintenance. Tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or above) in a relevant discipline Aeroskills – Mechanical, from a recognised institution Excellent knowledge and understanding of the requirements of DASRs Ability to work rotating roster Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Security Clearance (visit AGSVA website for more information about Security Clearances) Military Aircraft Maintenance License (MAML) on applicable type About you You will be responsible for ensuring aircraft are airworthy in accordance with prescribed aviation standards. Responsible for directly supporting Maintenance Managers in the execution of maintenance and aviation related duties by providing holistic tactical level task co‑ordination, personnel management, and supervision for a group of maintenance tasks or GAT and/or personnel. We are seeking a highly motivated, customer‑focused engineer. You will undertake maintenance and certification within scope of authorisation. Special Requirements Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
