Currently we’re in the top 30 construction companies globally. Please note that this role will initially support our roads-based project in Geelong, requiring regular travel to site. The Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated Site Engineer resource to support our end-to-end project delivery. Ideally the successful candidate would be available to start ASAP. You will contribute to quality assurance and procurement activities and assist in coordinating subcontractors on-site. You will collaborate closely with site supervisors, offering engineering and technical assistance. Whilst this role will initially support our Geelong roads-based project, longer term, you will support other projects within our robust pipeline gaining exposure to infrastructure projects across diverse sectors with opportunities to work in metropolitan and regional locations. More specifically this role will entail: Coordinating day to day activities and serving as a point of escalation for both critical and non-critical incidents. Managing subcontractor work packages, which includes coordinating on-site activities across various work fronts and disciplines. Facilitating the delivery of materials, along with tracking and reporting their status. Conducting quality inspections and reviewing work, including the completion of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs). Tracking of daily progress and productivity and reporting. Contributing to the program of works by providing updates on completed tasks and future activities. To value-add, it's important you have a proactive "can do" attitude and look to take the initiative to get involved with ad-hoc tasks and proactively seek additional work. Competencies we're seeking: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. At least 3 years post graduate, 2 years site based. Have a sound understanding of typical construction specifications used in the Australian construction industry. Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
